My Uncle Dick was a Contractor/Builder in Jackson, Michigan for many years. He and his family lived in the same neighborhood as my grandparents who I lived with for several years as a youngster. One of my favorite memories growing up was when my uncles and my grandfather would get on the subject of politics at family gatherings. Nothing could clear a room faster.I also remember that he had a dune buggy that he would bring around once in a while. All the neighborhood kids wanted a ride in it. We would hint and beg at times so that he would take us.
He was married to my grandmother's younger sister Carole Stull. They had two children Barry and Heather (Garrison) who were a couple years younger than me and my brother Troy.
